Tac Talk – Tactical Talking is a culturally competent, trauma-informed therapy program designed specifically for public health and safety professionals. Our services include individual, couple, family, and group therapy, as well as retreats, seminars, and workshops.

Our program is tailored to support public safety "first responders," including but not limited to police officers, firefighters (sworn and non-sworn), both active and retired personnel. We also serve public health "second responders," such as social workers, nurses, and therapists.

​

Tac Talk offers Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST) certified classes, covering a range of topics critical to the well-being of professionals in these fields. Training topics include domestic violence, vicarious trauma, vicarious resilience, critical incident stress debriefing, officer-involved shootings, officer suicide, and survival strategies for significant others.

Tac Talk Vision – To promote emotional, psychological, nervous system, and interpersonal health for public health and safety professionals.

Tac Talk Mission – To provide therapeutic treatment and intervention services that ensure public health and safety professionals remain healthy, safe, ethical, lawful, and successful both in and out of service, while living in nurturing homes.

Tactical Wellness Trauma Group (TW)

TW Trauma Group offers a two-hour in-person group session for first responders. The first hour focuses on check-ins and community bonding, providing a safe space for connection and support. The second hour is dedicated to teaching and psychoeducation, equipping participants with valuable tools for resilience, mental health, and professional well-being.
